Biomass Research and Development Board
The Biomass Research and Development Board (Board) was created by the Biomass Research and Development Act of 2000, which was further ammended by the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008. The Board’s mission is to coordinate federal research and development activities relating to biobased fuels, power, and products.
Membership must include the following agencies:
U.S. Department of Agriculture
Department of Energy
National Science Foundation
Environmental Protection Agency
Department of the Interior
Office of Science and Technology Policy
